The most popular Šerkšnytė’s work De profundis for string orchestra is included in the programme “Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody” and will be performed by maestro Richard Tognetti and Australian Chamber Orchestra at 11 concerts in Australia. The concerts will take place at such venues as Melbourne Recital Centre, Canberra Llewellyn Hall and Sydney Opera House on Februaury 5-18, 2026.

Oriental Elegy for string quartet is performed by Mivos string quartet (New York) at Huddersfield (UK) festival on November 22, 2025. It will be UK premiere of this work. This composition was many times performed in Lithuania, Canada, USA, France, Austria, Germany and Monaco by Čiurlionis string quartet (Lithuania), Chordos string quartet (Lithuania), Cassatt string quartet (New York), Stadler string quartet (Austria) and other musicians.

DE PROFUNDIS IN JAPAN, GERMANY AND AUSTRALIA

The most popular Šerkšnytė’s work De profundis for string orchestra will be performed in Kanazawa (Japan) on October 1, 2025. On October 11th De profundis will be also performed by conductor Tõnu Kaljuste and Ensemble Resonanz at Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, celebrating the 90th birthday of composer Arvo Pärt. On October 29th Ainārs Rubiķis and Staatsorchester Kassel will perform it at Kasseler Musiktage 2025. In February 2026 De profundis will be performed by conductor Richard Tognetti and Australian Chamber Orchestra at 11 concerts in Australia, including such venues as Melbourne Recital Centre and Sydney Opera House.

GLORIA AND TE DEUM AT THE SOLEMN CONCERT “DEDICATION TO LITHUANIA”

Gloria and Te Deum for soloists, brass quintet, choir and symphony orchestra will be performed by M. Pleškytė, I. Prudnikovaitė, T. Pavilionis, T. Girininkas, Sostinės Brass Quintet, choir “Vilnius” and the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Modestas Pitrėnas at the solemn concert “Dedication to Lithuania”. This concert is dedicated to mark the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania and will take place at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall on February 16th, 2025. This concert will be also broadcasted live by the Lithuanian National Radio and Television.

On January 12th, 2023 Fires will be performed by conductor Eva Ollikainen and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at Harpa Hall in Reykjavík (Iceland). On January 15th and 16th Fires will be performed by conductor Markus Poschner and The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). Konzertstück for piano trio (2018) is premiered by Hugo Ticciati (violin), Jakob Koranyi (cello) and Heini Kärkkäinen (piano) at Musikaliska in Stockholm (Sweden). This piece was commissioned by O/Modernt (Sweden) for the concert series North around the Baltic Sea, which commemorates the celebration of the 100 years of independence in the Baltic States in 2018, and performed in the concerts in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
