Fires for symphony orchestra will be performed at many concerts during wintertime. On December 2nd and 3rd Fires will be performed by conductor Markus Poschner and the Utah Symphony Orchestra at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City (USA). On January 12th, 2023 Fires will be performed by conductor Eva Ollikainen and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at Harpa Hall in Reykjavík (Iceland). On January 15th and 16th Fires will be performed by conductor Markus Poschner and The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra at the Concertgebow in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). On January 27th and 28th Fires will be performed by conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at Maison de la Radio et la Musiquein in Paris (France) and at Konzerthaus in Dortmund (Germany).
MIDSUMMER SONG AT KAUNAS AND LAUSANNE

On August 20th Midsummer Song for string orchestra will be performed by conductor Giedrė Šlekytė and Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra at Kaunas (Lithuania) Philharmonic hall at Pažaislis’ music festival. On November 2nd and November 3rd Giedrė Šlekytė will perform Midsummer Song with The Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne.

On July 13th two the most recent Šerkšnytė‘s compositions …this too shall pass… and Winternacht will be performed by Gidon Kremer and Kremerat Baltica Chamber Orchestra at the notable Lockenhaus music festival (Austria). On August 26th Winternacht will be also performed in Berwaldhallen Hall at the Baltic Sea Festival in Stockholm (Sweden).

The most popular Raminta Šerkšnytė‘s composition De profundis for string orchestra is included in Gidon Kremer and Kremerata Baltica jubilate concerts, which will take place in Tallinn, Rezekne and Riga on April 14-18th. In these concerts the newest Raminta’s opus – Winternacht for violin solo and string orchestra (the arrangement of Franz Schubert’s song Gute Nacht) will be premiered there.

New piece …this too shall pass… for violin, violoncello, vibraphone and string orchestra (2021) is premiered by Gidon Kremer (violin), Erica Piccotti (violoncello), Andrei Pushkarev (vibraphone) and Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra at Kronberg Academy Festival 2021 (Germany). On October 6th, 2021 this piece is performed at the official memorial ceremony, devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, in Kyiv (Ukraine).

Midsummer Song for string orchestra is performed by the St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra under conductor Arvo Volmer at the season opening concerts at Tonhalle in St. Gallen (Switzerland). On December 20th and 21st this piece is also performed by the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra under conductor Markus Poshner at the concerts in Musikverein Graz (Austria).

Konzertstück for piano trio (2018) is premiered by Hugo Ticciati (violin), Jakob Koranyi (cello) and Heini Kärkkäinen (piano) at Musikaliska in Stockholm (Sweden). This piece was commissioned by O/Modernt (Sweden) for the concert series North around the Baltic Sea, which commemorates the celebration of the 100 years of independence in the Baltic States in 2018, and performed in the concerts in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.

Gloria for brass quintet, choir, symphony orchestra, recording and video projection (2017) is premiered by Sostinės Brass Quintet, united choir (Choir of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre & Kaunas State Choir), united symphony orchestra (Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra & Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra & Orchestra of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre) under the baton of conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla at the Gala concert “Gloria Lietuvai” (“Gloria for Lithuania”). This performance is dedicated to the solemn celebration of the Centennial of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre on Feb 16th, 2018.
